I can draw or write to tell my story.

Writers you know that it is important to tell and draw the important parts of our story. Today I want to show you how you can write about these important parts of your story by labeling.

We already have several parts of our classroom labeled.

The word wall has a label, the name chart has a label, and each of our literacy centers have a label. This helps us know what those are, writers do the same in their stories.

They write a label to tell what, or who is in their drawings.
