Robotics Syllabus and Course Disclosure Information

 Course Goals:

(1) Learning the electrical and mechanical principles of robotics using hands on activities.

(2) Enhancement of numeracy and literacy skills using real world electronics activities.

(3) Enhancement of skills such as conflict resolution, emotional regulation, and adopting a growth mindset using small teams, open-ended challenges, and healthy competition.

Canvas Course Access:   The majority of course education materials are accessible on a 24 hours a day, 7 days a week basis.

Team Bylaws:

Safety: Team members are expected to follow all safety rules and procedures at all times, including written and verbal guidelines for working with robotics equipment and tools.

Respect: Team members are expected to treat each other, the team's advisor, and all other school staff with respect at all times. Team members are expected to take responsibility for their actions and contribute to the team's success.

Honesty: Team members are expected to be honest and forthright in their interactions with others. 

Professionalism: Team members are expected to conduct themselves in a professional manner at all times. Team members are expected to refrain from any form of harassment, discrimination, or bullying.

Teamwork: Team members are expected to work together as a team to achieve the team’s goals.
